Hotel Tres Banderas, Manuel Antonio

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious with better-than-average bathrooms and a beautiful view of the jungle, perfect for enjoying from a hammock. However, the room decor was unattractive and lacked basic amenities like coffee and glasses. The service was friendly and accommodating overall, but there were a few lapses such as staff entering the room without permission. The location was convenient for access to public transportation but not ideal for walking around. The dining options were limited and not impressive. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities were clean and well-maintained.

The hotel is situated near the main gate and offers perfect rooms for 3 people, complete with small balconies to enjoy bird watching. Although the first-floor rooms lack AC and efforts to cool them were thwarted, the accommodation is spacious for families of five with a lovely back patio featuring rocking chairs and a hammock.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean room, as well as the peaceful nights despite the slightly inconvenient access via a long set of stairs with broken tiles. The hotel looks a bit worn on the outside despite its beautiful exteriors.
